COURSE EXPECTATIONS
Through these courses you will learn different tips to installing and setting up of light commercial equipment. Following each step that is needed for a quick installation can save you time on any of client projects. Regardless if you are putting in a new unit or replacement one, there are key elements that need to be utilized and organized to stay focused, giving the client the best work, you can.
RTU 1 COURSE OVERVIEW
This class will cover installation and setup of Carrier rooftops, 3 to 25 tons. Going over fundamental information and giving you detailed content to use throughout any project.
Topics will include: Burner and related components; Blower settings; Accessories including Low ambient kits including Motormaster, Economizer basics, Smoke detectors and Condensate overflow-switches.
NATE CREDITS ARE DEPENDENT ON SPECIALTY
The following specialties are eligible for 4 NATE Credits through our RTU 1 Course:
- AC Installation and Service
- Air Distribution Installation and Service
- Air to Air Heating Pump Installation and Service
- Senior Efficiency Analyst
- HVAC Performance Verifier
- Light Commercial Refrigeration Installation and Service
