COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will introduce the installer and service technician to the Carrier Infinity variable speed air conditioning and heat pump product. Training includes: installation and set-up; application; control options; wiring diagrams; Troubleshooting of the inverter drive; and related components.

Changes in the New Inverter
In the past the inverter was one assembly, and individual parts couldn’t be replaced. Now the inverter components have been compartmentalized, with many of the components being individually replaceable. You’ll also notice the following new separate components: DPT or Discharge Pressure Inducer, no other products have had this component before. AC line reactors as separate components from the invertor, and EMI filter boards as a separate component on the invertor.
